About the role

As a Software Test Development Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our internal testing framework to ensure product reliability and quality throughout the entire development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design, and develop automated tests based on customer use cases within cloud and virtualized environments such as Azure and OpenShift

• Maintain and enhance the existing test automation framework

• Increase automated test coverage across products and features

• Contribute to the evolution of our CI/CD pipelines and testing practices

Required skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Networking, Telecommunications, or a related field

• Hands‑on experience in software development, designing and developing automated test suites

• Good understanding of L2/L3 networking protocol stacks

• Proficiency in Python programming

• Practical Linux system administration skills

• Good understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with tools such as Jenkins, Git, etc.

• Prior experience with virtualization, containerization technologies and cloud platforms would be a plus

• Curious and eager to learn, proactive, and adaptable to a fast changing environment

• Good communication skills in both English and French
